we understand that military spouses are some of the most resilient and hardworking individuals. They make incredible sacrifices for their families and communities while supporting their loved ones in uniform.

The Assoc. Of Military Spouse Entrepreneurs® is proud to support over 15k spouses around the world.

Program Timeline

• Nominations Open: March 8- April 8, 2024

• Meet the entrepreneurs & vote: April 16- April 30, 2024

• MSEA winner announced: May 6th, 2024

Rules & Criteria

• Applicants can nominate themselves or other milspouse business owners who:

• are of any status: retired, active duty, reserve, national guard

• have a service-based, product-based, or nonprofit business

• have been in business any number of years but who are ACTIVELY in business

  • Must have an EIN or LLC status (established business)

• are an AMSE member: "freemium" or All-Access

  • completed profile on the platform required

• have entrepreneurship skills & achievements

• are committed to supporting the military community

• Must be 18 years of age by the nomination deadline

• Must own 51% of the business

• US-based recommended - **IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are OCONUS and decide to accept a nomination; and win the award; AMSE will only cover travel within the USA. No exceptions will be made. You also understand that some IP addresses cannot vote and are out of the organization's control.

The MSEA Award Winner will receive the following:

• a night at New York Fashion Week (travel included) a Nolcha Show at NY Fashion Week (with professional hair and makeup plus front-row seating during the show!) or choose Millionaire Milspouse Mentorship Day with Birthing of Giants (3-hour small group mentor session) in January 2025  (travel included)

• feature story in the fall issue of AMSE/Stars & Stripes Military Spouse Entrepreneur Guide

• one-year free All-Access premium membership to AMSE

• AMSE swag + more

Who can be nominated? You can nominate yourself or a fellow military spouse business owner who has a great product, service or nonprofit.

When will we know if we have been accepted for the voting period? The nomination Acceptance Period will be May 9-12th. You will receive an email sharing your nomination, and you will get the next steps to prepare for the voting period hosted on Viralsweep. This is where you will create a profile for nominations.

Can I create my own graphics? Yes, you may create a graphic and run a campaign during the voting period.

Can I use the AMSE logo? Yes, you can use the AMSE logo for the campaign. Find it here.

How do I nominate myself or a fellow military spouse business owner? You can submit a nomination here.

Can I nominate more than 1 military spouse business? Yes, you can, and we welcome you to do so.

Why must I be a member of the Assoc of Military Spouse Entreprenerus? We want to ensure that you have access to the program and understand the mission.

Why do I have to register with ViralSweep to vote? We have chosen this process for security reasons and for the integrity of the voting process.

Who is judging the nominees? The nominees will be judged by an AMSE panel of military spouse-owned businesses, a board of advisors, and partners of the organization.
