Association of Military Spouse Entrepreneurs and Stars and Stripes publishes the Military Spouse Entrepreneurs Guide on military bases around the globe.

The second issue of the MSEG will focus on how to survive and thrive as a military spouse entrepreneur during a crisis.

Crosswicks, NJ (March 4, 2021) - Association of Military Spouse Entrepreneurs and Stars and Stripes have partnered to distribute the second Military Spouse Entrepreneur Guide on numerous military bases, family readiness centers and family support groups located globally. The second edition of the MSEG will help further support AMSE in its mission to build economic empowerment for military spouses by providing them resources and support to start, scale and sustain their businesses while navigating military life.

AMSE is known for being the only digital platform that caters specifically to the military spouse entrepreneur in various business stages. AMSE offers masterclasses, coworking spaces, mentoring and virtual connections for military spouses. "Teaming up with Stars and Stripes to provide the MSEG is an exciting development for our company," said cofounder Moni Jefferson. "While our military bases offer many valuable resources to our spouses, they are mostly career specific. Military spouses need a viable and transferable business, which is why entrepreneurship is a perfect fit. Now, the MSEG will be there to help them along the way."

The second edition of the MSEG will be available at various locations across the globe and will focus on “How to Prepare & Succeed in Times of Crisis.” Over 80,000 copies of the printed guide will be distributed in the US, Germany, Japan and Korea on March 4, 2021, along with a digital copy published online at Stripes.com, that will include a unique directory of hundreds of military spouse entrepreneurs.

"This is a great partnership and exemplifies our dedication to create social, economic impact for our military families during their greatest time of need," said Moni, AMSE's founder. "This latest edition of the MSEG speaks to not only the trials and tribulations faced in 2020 by many small business owners and entrepreneurs but those faced by military spouse entrepreneurs every day. Having to scale your business up and down due to outside factors-PCS, deployments and family obligations-is challenging. But having the tools and resources on how to navigate it successfully is crucial."

Publisher of Stars and Stripes Max Lederer said, "Spouses are an integral part of the success of Service Members. Spouses keep families working while their partner is away. Spouses bring amazing skills to the military community. Our mission is to reach our readers with the information they need to build resiliency, and the military spouse community is a key part of the military community."

The second edition of the MSEG will focus on how to survive and thrive as an entrepreneur during a crisis. 2020 taught all of us that no matter what life throws at us, we need to be prepared to scale back or pivot with our businesses. The guide is here to help military spouses plan for the unexpected on their journey in building a business. The MSEG will be broken up into four sections and focus on how to prepare for a crisis, how to scale your business down or ramp it back up, planning and implementation strategies, featured stories of military spouses, resources and a digital military spouse directory. The articles will be easy to follow and include actionable steps to give the spouses strategies, tactics and support they need during uncertain times.
